Dodge to Rollout World's 1st E-Muscle Car

Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis made the announcement at the Stellantis annual EV Day event.  According to computer renderings of the upcoming vehicle, it is a car not an SUV.  And the four wheel car design is intriguingly reminiscent of the iconic Dodge Charger of the late 1960's.  The tires are big, beefy and wide.  The front of the retro styled coupe appears to have a LED light bar with a lighted emblem in the center.

  World's 4th Largest Automotive Maker                                        Source:  Jeep Assembly Line New Transatlantic Automaker Called Stellantis It is now official.  Shareholders of Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler have approved a $52 billion merger with France-based Peugeot/PSA.  They joined Peugeot/PSA shareholders in approving the deal which creates the world's 4th largest automotive company.  The new transatlantic entity is called Stellantis and is expected to sell 8.7 million vehicles yearly.  The company houses brands like Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Maserati, Alfa-Romeo, Opel, Citroen and Vauxhall.   Maserati's Total Electric Lineup within the Next Five Years                                Source:  Maserati 2021 Grecale SUV World Automakers Pushing EV Future Maserati is Fiat Chrysler's premier luxury brand based in Italy.  Maserati chief executive Davide Grasso said today, during an online event sponsored by the Italian daily newspaper Milano Finanza, that the entire Maserati lineup is being electrified - either fully electric or hybrid electric - within the next five years.  That is a very big deal for a top of the line, combustion engine, high speed, sportscar iconic brand. $50 Billion Fiat Chrysler & PSA Peugeot Merger Combining to Share Electrification and Autonomous Technology Investment Costs On Wednesday, December 18, 2019 Fiat Chrysler and PSA Peugeot are expected to announce that they are merging the two global automotive companies.  The tie-up will create a $50 billion entity that will produce 8.7 million cars a year.  The combination will create the world's fourth largest automaker after Toyota, VW and the Renault-Nissan alliance.
