Yanfeng is a $16 billion innovator of "smart car cabins" headquartered in Shanghai, China. Their automotive vision of the XiM23 is based on their proprietary research, the Luxury Research Study, into the driving public's priorities for the "perfect car". Their findings on desired new car innovations are being incorporated, particularly into the car's interior space, to change the driver's and passengers' experiences during their journeys.  The highly advanced digital technologies being deployed are designed to convert the car's interior into a user-centric experience.  In essence, this new car concept is the result of the combination of highly advanced digital and luxury features.

  SAIC-GM-Wuling's Small, Electric Off-Roader with No Name                                        Source:  Baojun Teaser Images Very Small but Powerful Electric SUV Baojun, a subsidiary of the SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) joint venture, has just released teaser images of what is being called by automotive experts "a mystery car" that is an awesome, tiny, electric off-road SUV.  The EV has rugged, off-road styling, along with a very small footprint, boxy-rectangular contours with rounded edges and traditional off-road proportions.  The vehicle is a bit of a mystery.  At this point, it has no name and no logo.  But it is a concept car that appears to be production ready.  And, it is not being taken lightly because part of the brainpower behind it is coming from no less than GM and top Chinese automakers SAIC and Wuling. VW Puts Flying Taxis in the Fast Lane

  VW Updates & Accelerates Flying Taxi eVTOL Plans                                                  Source:  VW VW's Flying Tiger Volkswagen Group has accelerated its plans for an autonomous, pilotless flying taxi that can carry four passengers for shuttle rides between big cities.  The name of the eVTOL (electric, vertical takeoff and landing) vehicle is the Flying Tiger.  VW just provided an update that it is significantly accelerating R&D and software development for the flying taxi.  At Volkswagen Group China headquarters in Beijing, where the eVTOL is being developed, VW officially unveiled a prototype of the Flying Tiger.   VW Is Very Serious About Urban Air Mobility                                                                                                Source: Volkswagen eVTOL Flight Tests To Start This Year Volkswagen just unveiled a flying taxi prototype that is being developed by the automaker's division in China.  VW calls it a "passenger drone".  It is fully electric, fully autonomous and takes off and lands vertically like a helicopter.  VW plans to start test flights later this year and build an upgraded prototype by the summer of 2023.  For VW, air taxis could be a significant commercial venture. The VW flying taxi prototype is called V.MO. Tech Specs  The eVTOL has ten rotors: eight for vertical lift and two for forward, horizontal flight.  VW hopes to achieve a 124-mile range on a charge.  It will be used to ferry passengers within cities such as from an office park to the airport and also to fly from city to city such as Baltimore to Washington, DC.  VW is working with s
