    World's Greenest EV                                                                           Source:  Citroen Could Radically Change What Cars Are Made of Citroen's new electric concept vehicle Oli is a sporty, funky, fun lightweight pickup truck that's made from recycled honeycomb cardboard and other recycled and recyclable materials.  That has to be an automotive first.  According to Citroen executives, it is designed to be affordable, sustainable and built on the principle "the less you weigh, the less you consume".  The automaker says it equipped Oli with "just enough of everything" to really keep the weight down and the driver and passengers happy.  The EV weighs 2.204 pounds and the 40-kWh battery provides a range of 248 miles on a charge. It can recharge from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes. Citroen hasn't provided power figures or the number of electric motors that the EV has. But Oli's maximum speed is 68 mph.   4 New All-Electric Jeeps by 2025                                                  Source:  Jeep New Electric Wagoneer S & Electric Recon Jeep is on a mission to electrify its entire lineup of SUVs in the next few years.  To that end, it just introduced two new, fully electric SUVs that will hit the market in 2024.  Two more will follow by 2025.  The dynamic duo just introduced include the spiffy and speedy Wagoneer S and an all-electric Wrangler-like vehicle called the Jeep Recon, which has a power sliding glass top that features the most glass of any Jeep production model.  The vehicle also has removable doors.  By 2030, half of all Jeep sales in the US and 100% in Europe will be electric. Previously, Jeep had been focusing on the development of hybrid models.  Speedy and Zero Emissions For the Grand Wagoneer S, Jeep is targeting 400 miles range on a charge, 600 hp and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.  Jeep hasn't announced performance details for the Recon othe

  Dodge Charger Will Be Electrifying                                                  Source:  Dodge New Technologies Create Electric Muscle Car That Sounds like One Dodge has surprised the global automotive world with an electric muscle car concept version of the iconic Dodge Charger, which is one of the original muscle cars.  Called the Charger Daytona SRT, it will be Dodge's first, all-electric muscle car and is expected to debut in 2024.   New Highly Advanced Technology Replaces Traditional Brakes                                             Source:  DS Automobiles Future of Driving Imagine driving a car with no traditional brakes!  New technology called electric motor regeneration is enabling just that. In Paris, luxury automaker DS Automobiles, owned by Chrysler parent company Stellantis, has designed a highly advanced, electric car without conventional brakes.  Called the E-Tense concept, the electric vehicle is very powerful and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in two seconds.  It showcases the future of cars with no brakes. The car brakes and is stopped by using electric motor regeneration, a new technology that DS is deploying in its Formula E race car, the DS E-Tense Performance.  The system uses two onboard electric motors to slow the vehicle through regenerative braking and charges the EV in the process when stopping.
