Constellations of Small Satellites Source:  Airbus Airbus Wins Blackjack Program Contract DARPA, the US Defense Department's Advanced Research Projects Agency, just awarded Airbus a contract to develop a satellite bus for its Blackjack program.  Blackjack is a satellite architecture for the US military.  Essentially, it is the utilization of constellations of small satellites in low orbit for the military. DARPA's New Small Satellite System DARPA plans on pairing the satellite buses with military sensors and payloads.  The buses will generate power for the satellites, provide propulsion and transmit spacecraft telemetry.  The use of small, inexpensive satellite constellations for military purposes is a concept DARPA has been developing over the past several years.  For more news stories on innovation, go to  amazon.com/author/ekane

Lenovo Smart Alarm Clock Control System Source:  Lenovo Google Assistant, Time and a Lot More of a House Smart Control Center This may be the world's smartest clock.  Lenovo's SmartClock.   All you need to do is say "OK, Google" to set alarms, get a weather update and see your schedule.  You can control 5,000 of the most common smart home devices directly from it.  You can even monitor other rooms in your home with it by using Nest smart cameras. Thin, Flexible, Roll-able Display Screens LG Signature OLED TV R LG is a dominator in OLED television and it has just unveiled an innovative concept.  It's called the LG Signature OLED TV R.  It's a roll-able display thanks to its thinness and flexibility. Multi-tasking Health Care Robot from Samsung Source: Samsung's New Health Care Robot Assistant For Patients New Robot with Functionality and Friendliness  Samsung, the Japanese giant electronics company, just unveiled a robot to assist patients in need of health care monitoring and other patient needs.  It's being hailed as friendly with great functionality for patients and their families.  It can monitor biometrics like blood pressure and heart rates, prompt the patient to take their medicine and even serve as a companion when the patient needs someone to   communicate with. Byton M-Byte All-Electric SUV Source:  Byton's M-Byte German-based Electric Car Startup Byton Byton's all electric SUV the M-Byte has just been unveiled and the German innovation company says it will be available by mid-2019 in the US.  This SUV is loaded with innovation that includes artificial intelligence, 5G, total connectivity, and a 48 inch display that's the width of the vehicle Driving and Totally Connected Byton is rolling out two all-electric models this year.  The entry level has a 250 mile range on one charge and starts at $45,000.  The second model has a bigger battery, bigger price tag and a range of 320 miles on one charge.  This is the first vehicle in the world that can provide full connectivity while driving.  It has built-in 5G and multiple antennas. Kohler Verdera -Voice Activated, Motion Detection, Alexa Source:  Kohler Voice Lighted Mirror with Amazon Alexa Kohler is known for its beautiful bath fixtures.  At the Consumer Electronics Show 2019 in Las Vegas, Kohler introduced something very smart and unique.  The Verdera Voice Lighted Mirror with voice control.  The smart mirror has voice controlled light and motion detection that turns on the mirror lights when you walk into the room. Alexa The mirror is also equipped with Amazon's Alexa. That enables you to get messages, listen to the news or even shop as you get ready for your day.  This smart mirror was a CES favorite innovation.
