Toyota's Hydrogen Sedan

Toyota Mirai Driving on Hydrogen Power Toyota is making a bet that the preferred fuel of the future is hydrogen.  They just unveiled their 2021 Toyota Mirai concept design.  The 4-door sedan is powered by hydrogen and has enough room inside to accommodate five people. Taking Its Own Road Toyota is going a different direction than its major global competitors which are placing their bets on electric battery powered big vehicles like SUVs and trucks.  Toyota will start selling the hydrogen powered vehicles in late 2020.  It adds that it will ramp up production ten fold for what it believes will be a very popular mass market, four door sedan. Endless Flying Drone with Battery Docking

Unique Power System:  Inflight Battery Swaps for Drones Source:  UC Berkeley New Drone/Battery System UC Berkeley HiPeRLab Innovation Can you imagine a drone with almost unlimited flying time?  Well, it's just been created by engineers and roboticists at the University of California Berkeley's HiPeRLab, their High Performance Robotics Lab.  It's a prototype drone system with unique, inflight battery switching technology.  The potential is to keep drones in the air for almost unlimited flight times. Quadcopter Drone with a Docking Deck The team has invented a quadcopter drone with a docking tray that's able to accept a smaller, fresh battery delivering drone.  The battery drone lands on the dock, recharges the larger drone and flies away.  This allows the next battery drone to fly in and take its place to do a recharge. Sustainable Drone Flights This is a fascinating approach to one way of powering sustainable drone flights.  In the future, othe

AI Driven Stock Trading Venue

Upstart, New AI Driven Stock Venue Source:  Stock Image Highly Innovative Stock Trading Imperative Execution is an artificial intelligence driven, US stock trading venue operator.  It's currently going after business with the NYSE and other stock exchanges by adopting their pricing models.  The company indicates that they could also very soon list as a new stock exchange.  This is another important example of artificial intelligence impacting another key industry, in this case investing. More Public Visibility Imperative Execution runs IntelligentCross, which is an alternative trading system (ATS).  The ATS used AI to monitor and improve its performance in real time to save investors money.  The issue for the company is the lack of public visibility.  That's why it wants to either list as an exchange or partner with an existing exchange. Pulling in New Subscribers As an ATS, it's government registered, broker run and has more flexibility to innovate.  But the
