  AEHRA's EV With 815 HP                                                  Source:  AEHRA Italian EV Startup With Intriguing Technologies Milan-based EV startup AEHRA is developing an all-electric, highly aerodynamic SUV that promises a range on a charge of 500 miles.  It also packs 815 hp of power. The SUV in design seems to blur the line between a supercar and an SUV with its flowing aerodynamic contours and cabin forward silhouette.  It will be formally unveiled in early 2023 and delivered to buyers in 2025. Although it is one of the boldest and most fascinating new concepts recently announced, it doesn't have a name yet.  It is the brash creation of AEHRA, a startup headquartered in Milan, Italy that was founded in Delaware in 2020 by the entrepreneur Hazim Nada, who was born in the US and raised in Italy.    A World First in eVTOL Commutes                                             Source:  Jetson One The Democratization of Flight The co-founder of Sweden's Jetson flying car company just completed the world's first commute in his company's $83,600 Jetson One flying car.  Tomasz Patan flew the eVTOL (electric, vertical takeoff and landing vehicle) from his home in the hills of Tuscany to his company building that is located 3 miles away.  His commute time was reduced by 88%.  His world-first eVTOL commute showcased how user friendly and time saving flying cars are designed to be.  The company says that Jetson One is fun and incredibly easy to fly.  Their goal is to democratize flying with the widespread use of eVTOLs for mass transportation. Tech Specs Jetson One is powered by 8 electric engines that have a maximum range of 20 minutes flying time.  As an eVTOL, the vehicle can take off from and land on just about any place, including a driveway, making it ultra-convenient.

  Dodge Hornet Hybrid Plug-In to Be Unveiled in August                                                       Source:  Dodge Stellantis' Dodge Electrifies its Lineup Dodge, now owned by Chrysler's parent company Stellantis, is launching a new version of its iconic Hornet, which dates back to the 1950's as the Hudson and AMC Hornet. The Hornet was a legendary muscle car. The new Hornet will be unveiled in August 2022 as a compact, hybrid electric plug-in SUV. The 23-foot Hornet will be offered with a 256 hp 2.0-liter turbocharged, 4-cylinder engine or a plug-in hybrid Q4 variant that pairs a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with an electric motor.
