  Powerful New Porsche 911 Variant To Debut in L.A                                                       Source:  Porsche Off-Roading 911 Tested in Very Rugged Environments For the first time in its history, Porsche has developed an off-roading 911 sports car specifically for the public not for competitive racing.  It's called the 2023 Porsche 911 Dakar and it will formally debut tonight at the Los Angeles Auto Show.  Porsche says this is a very special variant of its iconic 911.  And it is their first, 2-door sports car to offer rugged, off-road capabilities.  It has been rigorously tested in the most challenging environments and it is one tough off-roading vehicle.   Porsche 911 GT3 RS Has a Massive Wing                                                                                                                                                 Source:  Porsche Race Car for the Road Volkswagen's luxury brand Porsche has developed a massively powerful new car with a huge aerodynamic wing on its back. Called the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, it's a race car for the road with the highest level of technology.  The vehicle can hit speeds of 193 mph and goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3 seconds, thanks to the athletic strength of its powerful engine and its unique ability to harness the thrust and power of the wind with its aerodynamic wing. Tech Specs and More GT3 RS is equipped with a 4.0-liter, 6-cylinder engine that pumps out a hefty 518 hp.  Thanks to the sports car's wing and other aerodynamic features, GT3 RS' downforce numbers are 3-times that of a normal GT3.  At 124 mph, the downforce is more than 900 pounds.  At 177 mph, it is 1,895 pounds.

  Defining the Future of Sports Cars - Porsche 718E                                                  Source:  Porsche Porsche's Growing Electric Lineup Porsche just announced that it will launch the Porsche 718E, all-electric sports car in 2025. The e-sports car will be available in Germany in late 2023.
