New BEVs in the pipeline include a new sedan and SUV. The eye-catching electric sports car is called the BEV (battery electric vehicle) Sport. Electric Centerpiece The BEV Sport is a centerpiece in Lexus' next-G electric vehicle lineup.  It is a low to the ground, long, 2 seat sportscar with a very smooth and elegant design.  It is fast, going from zero to 60 mph in less than 2 seconds.  The targeted range for the electric vehicle is 430 miles. Lexus, which is Toyota's luxury brand, also officially unveiled its hydrogen powered ROV.  These side-by-side vehicles are designed for adventurous off-roaders who enjoy travelling the road less traveled with zero or very low emissions. NX PHEV Concept Lexus says these two new concepts are representative of its goals to expand travel choices for customers and simultaneously work toward a carbon free society with zero emissions driving. It will roll out in late 2022.  Lexus has also unveiled a fleet of all-electric concept vehicles, including a supercar, a big SUV and a sedan.  For Lexus, this is the start of their future of electromobility.  They have big plans and target selling nothing but electric vehicles in the US, Europe and China by 2030.  Lexus says it will be selling only EVs globally by 2035.  And by 2030, it plans to be selling 3.5 million EVs a year.
