Switzerland's The Jet - Hydrogen Powered Hydrofoil                                                  Source: The Jet The Jet to be Manufactured in Dubai The Jet is a new form of hydrogen powered transportation.  The "flying boat" is powered by two hydrogen fuel cells that convert hydrogen into electricity and produce no emissions.  The vessel is a hydrofoil that glides three feet above the water at a top speed of 46 mph.  It can carry 12 passengers and a captain. It makes its water journey in silence and in harmony with the environment.  It is the innovative creation of Switzerland-based startup The Jet ZeroEmission, which will manufacture the hydrofoil in Dubai. New International Innovation Collaboration The hydrogen powered flying boat uses hydrofoils underneath the vessel to give it lift. It is a distinctively designed, slender white vessel.  It spans 32 feet and weighs 6 tons.  The Jet ZeroEmission company was founded by French yachtsman Alain Thebault.  The company

SCG's Hydrogen Boot                                               Source:  SCG Setting Sights on Baja 1000 Endurance Race US-based SCG has invented a one-of-a-kind hydrogen, high performance race car/pickup truck called the Hydrogen Boot.  In late 2022, the company hopes the Boot will become the first zero emissions vehicle to compete in the Baja 1000 endurance race.  Importantly, the company plans to turn this eye-popping, off-road hydrogen vehicle into a road legal pickup truck for consumers to drive, first in the US.  Estimated price is $100,000. On Track with Zero Emissions The moving force behind SCG (Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus) is ex-Hollywood movie producer/director/writer James Glickenhaus who is an avid car enthusiast and loves extreme racing. SCG creates exotic, high-performance race and road cars. The company calls the Boot a "cryogenic supercritical hydrogen fuel cell Baja 1000 race vehicle".  The standout feature is the huge hydrogen tank that fills the r

New Hydrogen Powered Internal Combustion Engine                                                  Source:  Toyota Toyota's Portfolio of Green Automotive Technologies Toyota is developing an experimental hydrogen car.  The GR Yaris internal combustion engine in the Toyota Corolla Sport has been converted to run on hydrogen.  Toyota CEO Akio Toyoda has driven and even raced the green vehicle.  He believes the development of this hydrogen powered engine technology could keep internal combustion engines on the road and running in a carbon free world by being fueled with clean hydrogen not carbon emissions producing gas.  CEO Toyoda also believes this technology could save millions of automotive jobs. Near Zero Emissions Driving The Toyota chief executive feels that carbon is the enemy of the environment not the internal combustion engine.  Using hydrogen to fuel the Toyota Corolla Sport experimental car keeps emissions very close to zero.  Currently, a small amount of the engine burns
