  Luxury Electric SUV Folgore                                                       Source: Maserati Lots of Battery Power and Torque Italian luxury car maker Maserati has introduced its first, fully electric SUV, the Maserati Grecale Folgore. The compact electric SUV will be available on the market in 2023.  The vehicle is Maserati's entry point into the luxury electric SUV global marketplace, which is burgeoning with new entrees and accelerating growth.  The Grecale, named after a Mediterranean Sea wind, is part of a series of new EVs from Maserati that will be sold under the Folgore nameplate.   Defining the Future of Sports Cars                                                  Source:  Porsche Porsche's Growing Electric Lineup Porsche just announced that it will launch the Porsche 718E, all-electric sports car in 2025. The e-sports car will be available in Germany in late 2023. It will be sold exclusively as an electric vehicle.  In fact, the next generation of the 718 Boxster/Cayman will be electric only.  Porsche is a wholly owned subsidiary of VW.  And the 718E will be Porsche's first car produced on the VW PPE (Premium Platform Electric) that is being developed with Audi.  Porsche says that it is developing the 718E and its core electric technologies to "shape the future of sports cars" that are totally electric powered with zero emissions to the environment but operate with the power and fun of a regular sports car.   This New e-Bike Could Revolutionize City Commuting                                                       Source:  JackRabbit New, Green Travel Innovation San Diego, CA based mobility company JackRabbit has created a unique micro electric bike called Jack Rabbit.  The bike does not have traditional pedals so it's a cross between a bike and a scooter.  Jack Rabbit is for urban commuters. It is very lightweight and folds into a small shape for storage.  There is a 300 W geared motor in the bike's rear tire and a 158 Wh removable battery on top of the frame.  With the push of the throttle on the handlebars, it can speed up to 20 mph.  The range on a charge is 12 miles.  It's the invention of University of California at San Diego coach Tom Piszkin to enable better e-bike commuting and e-bike ownership for university students and city commuters.   Sweden's Dynamic Jetson Aero Source:  Jetson Aero A Flying Car That "Anyone Can Fly" Sweden's flying car startup Jetson Aero has developed an all-electric, flying car that, the company says, anyone can fly.  It's called Jetson One.  It's currently in production and is being purchased by consumers.  This vehicle is so popular and practical that the entire 2022 production line of Jetson One's have been sold out at a price of $92,000 each.  The company is accepting orders for 2023 deliveries.  The company calls the drone-like Jetson One "the jet ski of the sky".
