  Polestar's Latest Electric Convertible Concept & Drone                                                  Source:  Polestar Car With Flying Drone Launches to Videotape the Drive Sweden-based electric car manufacturer Polestar has a new all-electric convertible sports car concept that comes with its own flying drone.  The EV called O2 is a stunning sports car convertible with 2+2 seating, meaning 2 seats in the front and 2 snug seats in the back.  O2 is a highly advanced piece of automotive engineering with a bonded aluminum body.  It is totally electric, zero emissions with the added advanced technology of a flying, built in "cinematic drone".  The drone is engineered to launch from the rear of the car, while the car is moving, and then videotape the driver's journey along the road for later cinematic viewing. Citroen's Vision of the Perfect Beach Buggy

  Electric Beach Buggy From France                                                    Super Citroen My Ami Buggy French automaker Citroen has unveiled, what it calls, its "beach car of the future".  It's a two-seater with a fully electric, 8 hp motor, powered by a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.  Called My Ami Buggy, it's designed for outdoorsy adventure and fun.  The electric dune buggy is small and minimalistic with no doors. It echoes the beach car spirit of the 1960's and 1970's. Instead of an infotainment display, there is a small digital cluster and a cradle for a smart phone. There is storage space for items. The accessories in the EV are 3D printed.  My Ami can hit a maximum speed of 30 mph and has a driving range of 43 miles.  Under French law, it is not classified as a car, so anyone over 14 years old can drive it without a license.   Electric Concept with 620 Mile Range                                      Source:  Mercedes Vision EQXX MB On the Electric Road With Rolling R&D Lab Mercedes unveiled its long-anticipated Vision EQXX electric concept car at CES 2022 in Las Vegas.  The car breaks the mold for unique styling, design and technology.  It can travel 620 miles on a single charge.  Mercedes says that is the equivalent of travelling from New York City to Cincinnati nonstop.  The German luxury car manufacturer says the Vision EQXX is the most efficient car that it has ever built.  It needs a full recharge just twice a month. Design and Style The Vision EQXX is all about luxury, efficiency and zero emissions.  The body is distinctively different from other Mercedes models with a sleek, curvy and futuristic look.  Segments of the car's exterior are 3-D printed. Mercedes Benz'   New Vision AVTR Concept                                                                                       Source:  Mercedes Vision AVTR Brain-Computer Interface at Work Mercedes Benz, at the IAA Mobility 2021 show in Munich, unveiled a concept car that redefines the relationship between car and driver.  With its Vision AVTR, Mercedes has innovated an electric concept car controlled by the driver's thoughts.  The car uses a brain-computer interface to record a driver's brain waves by wearable electrodes attached to the head.  Mercedes has partnered with Disney on this concept car, which was inspired by Disney's Avatar.  The Vision AVTR is all electric, zero emissions with a 350 kW electric engine. How Does It Work? According to Mercedes, the brain-computer interface (BCI) calibrates the measured brain waves and performs a function, such as changing the radio station or diming the ambient lights in the car.  The vehicle also has biometric interaction

  Electric Car is Built with Recycled Materials                                                             Source:  BMW i Vision Circular E-Car is Recycled When Its Use Is Over BMW is making a strong commitment to fully electric, sustainable auto-making.  It is promising that within 20 years, all of its vehicles will be made of recycled materials and at the end of their use, the vehicles will be recycled to create new vehicles.  To underscore the point,  BMW has unveiled a unique, 100% environmentally friendly electric car, called the i Vision Circular Concept.  BMW says the EV is "circular" to save the planet.  By 'circular" BMW is referring to the fact that the electric vehicle is built with totally recycled materials and when its use is over, it can be recycled to create a new car.  The Vision is a 4-seat hatchback concept that BMW says "looks ahead to a compact, all-electric car for 2040 that is squarely focused on sustainability and luxury.  The EV goes on

Motorsports In their social media post, Porsche mentioned motorsports with regard to the new concept.  They said motorsports provides the "toughest grounds for engineering innovations on their way to series production".  Experts are speculating that this could be a new vehicle inspired by motorsports or an experimental racecar with a fully electric power
