  • Is it possible that the Sun is the ultimate answer to the world's energy problems of supply, demand and climate change damage from fossil fuels?  Technologist & Tesla/SpaceX CEO Elon Musk believes so.  Here are a few of his very recent and provocative perspectives:
  1. Musk feels you could power the entire US with "100 mile-by-100 miles of solar" energy harvesting technology in the sky
  2. He calls the Sun "the great fusion reactor in the sky"
  3. He cites the tech possibilities of the Sun, which produces 4 million net tons of mass to energy every second, every day

  • Microsoft has developed a new AI tool that decorates the background of your video call and turns it from a messy, cluttered setting to a clean professional looking backdrop.  Here are some facts:
  • Called "Decorate Your Background"
  • Uses AI to clean up the background behind you during your videocall
  • It can clean up a messy, unprofessional looking background and make it look neat and professional
  • AI tool can decorate the space behind you with plants, trees and more including festive items like Christmas trees
  • Decorate Your Background is available through Microsoft early next year
  • Microsoft also has developed an AI tool that eliminates background noise like hammering or office chatter for clean, clear audio for your call.

APPLE UPGRADES TEXTING BETWEEN IPHONES & ANDROID DEVICES

  • Apple plans to adopt the RCS (Rich Communication Standard) messaging standard next year to greatly upgrade texting between iPhones and Android devices.  Here's what we know:
  • Apple plans to provide a software update with RCS to its iPhones in 2024
  • According to Google, the current Apple messaging system is 1990's & 2000's tech; Google and other tech companies have been urging Apple to do this
  • In doing so, Apple is reversing its long history of protecting its iMessage system
  • The software update will raise iPhone to Android device messaging to the RCS gold standard level
  • It offers iPhone users a lot including:
  1. Making it easier and much smoother to text between iPhones and Androids
  2. Offers better interoperability than SMS or MMS
  3. Will be able to send and receive high quality photos and videos with Android users
  4. Will be able to chat over WiFi
  5. Will be able to know when messages are received
  6. Enables group chats and texts over Wi-fi with Android.
  • The upgrade that Apple is providing is a long time coming but is being well received.
  • RCS will work alongside iMessage, which is the messaging system iPhone users currently have.

  China's SAIC Revolutionizes the Historic British MG Brand                                              Source:  MG Cyberster Electric MG Sport Car Concept Becomes a Reality The legendary sports car company MG was founded in the 1920's in Oxford, England. It enjoyed a long history of creating iconic MG, 2 seat sports cars.
