Here's what we know: It's a Generative AI enabled text-to-image generator based on new AI image synthesis model Can be controlled & operated by the person using text prompts or by asking ChatGPT to do the prompts for them New system is more conversational It can generate an image and then create a story around the generated image Will be available in early October to ChatGPT Plus and Enterprise customers No date on full public release It's currently in research preview Will be a fully integrated ChatGPT feature Trained on millions of images created by human artists and photographers
