  • Stargazer is a hypersonic space plane under development that's designed to get anyplace on Earth in up to 90 minutes.  Here are some key facts:
  • Stargazer is targeted to be the fastest and fully reusable hypersonic passenger plane ever created
  • Developer is Houston, Texas-based Venus Aerospace along with co-developer NASA
  • Flies at 9-times the speed of sound - Mach 9 or 7,000 mph - using state-of-the-art rockets
  • Venus claims to have created a rocket engine that makes one-hour global transport cost-effective
  • Has unique wave rider design that lets the hypersonic plane ride its own shockwaves at hypersonic speeds
  • Powered by liquid-propellant rotating detonation engines
  • State of the art cooling system that enables wings to withstand hypersonic speeds
  • Hits altitude of 170,000 feet, touching the edges of space
  • Carries 12 passengers
  • Now in development and expected to enter service in the 2030's
  • Has a competitor - Destinus S.

CADILLAC DEBUTS ALL-ELECTRIC SUV

  • Cadillac just unveiled its all-electric, luxury SUV, Vistiq.  Some key facts:
  • This is the 4th electric SUV in the Cadillac lineup
  • It has a big, bold and stylish design with an all-wheel-drive powertrain
  • At least 500 hp and 450 pound-feet of torque
  • According to Cadillac, it's "distinctive, innovative luxury"
  • Has 3 rows of seats to accommodate up to 7 people
  • Will hit global markets in early 2025
  • Pricing and other key details will be disclosed in 2024.

  China's SAIC Revolutionizes the Historic British MG Brand                                              Source:  MG Cyberster Electric MG Sport Car Concept Becomes a Reality The legendary sports car company MG was founded in the 1920's in Oxford, England. It enjoyed a long history of creating iconic MG, 2 seat sports cars.
