  • Amazon is one of the world's greatest technology companies and is now expanding its use of AI for NFL football broadcasts and interactive, live retail sales on an upcoming NFL game broadcast
  • Here's what we know:
  1. Amazon's use of AI is strategically expanding in its NFL game broadcasts to provide real-time context, perspectives & new interactive shopping deal opportunities
  2. Using AI, machine learning and building Amazon's neural network, Amazon will broadcast the 1st NFL Black Friday game on 11/24 with live, interactive shopping for viewers of the NY Jets vs. Miami Dolphins game
  3. This game is free on Amazon to non-subscribers of Prime
  4. Amazon says AI will make this seamless and let the viewers decide if they want to engage or not
  5. Amazon is also the NFL's streaming partner for Thursday Night Football and is greatly expanding its use of AI for the games
  6. Look for new AI screen display alerts on R/T play options, stats, analytics, who is open to score, smartest next play to make and a lot more
  • This is a fun new use of AI - innovating more informative football coverage for the enjoyment of fans and also a very savy retail tool.
WORLD's 1st PILOTED HYDROGEN PLANE

  • In what's being hailed as the world's 1st piloted, hydrogen plane flight, H2FLY just completed a series of piloted flights including one over three hours long
  • Here's what we know:
  1. The plane is powered by liquid hydrogen and flies emissions free
  2. Hydrogen generates power for the electric engines that turn the propellers
  3. The aircraft has a range of 932 miles and is capable of travelling from London to Rome
  4. H2FLY is based in Stuttgart, Germany and was bought in 2021 by California-based Joby Aviation
  5. H2FLY was built in partnership with L'Air Liquide SA, German Aerospace Center, EKPO Fuel Cell Technologies and Pepistrel Vertical Solutions
  6. Their next move is to scale up their technology for regional aircraft production and other applications
  • Separately, Joby has an all-electric flying taxi service developing in the US with clearance from the FAA for test flights and an investment deal from Delta.

POSSIBLE KIDNEY TRANSPLANT BREAKTHROUGH

                                                        Source:  Stock

  • Chinese scientists may have developed a kidney transplant breakthrough:  human kidneys grown inside pigs
  • For biomedical scientists this has been the Holy Grail - to grow human organs inside animals, making transplant organs much more available, to prevent the deaths of thousands of patients waiting for a transplant match from a human donor
  • Here's what we know:
  1. Partially formed human kidneys have been grown in pigs for a 28 day period
  2. Experts say this could transform organ transplants
  3. It could eliminate the wait for human organs for thousands of patients waiting for donors
  4. Thousands of lives could be saved
  5. Scientists used a pregnant pig to grow a lab-created pig embryo genetically engineered with almost human kidneys
  6. Stem cells were added to the embryo to help develop the miniature kidneys
  7. The scientists say the piglet kidneys are at least half human, have a normal structure and link up to the bladder to eliminate waste
  8. The kidneys seem to work: a pig kidney put into a brain-dead man is still functioning after several weeks
  9. While growing human organs in pigs for transplant is extremely complicated & still a few years away, this new scientific research does offer serious hope to thousands in need of kidney transplants.
