  Alpine & IED's New Hydrogen Powered Supercar                                             Source:  Alpine & IED The A-4810  France-based, Renault-owned Alpine, which is a renowned race and sports car maker, has unveiled a hydrogen powered concept car that may be the top car concept of the decade.  Alpine's Design Studio created the hydrogen, electric vehicle with 28 graduate students from the Turin, Italy-based Instituto Europeo di Design (IED), which is one of the top automotive design universities in the world.  The new concept vehicle is called A4810 and it represents their vision of the future for an Alpine supercar in 2035.  It is a spectacular vision of the future of driving a sleek, stylish, sophisticated, fully loaded vehicle with cutting-edge technologies, including a hydrogen powertrain.   Luxury Electric SUV Folgore                                                       Source: Maserati Lots of Battery Power and Torque Italian luxury car maker Maserati has introduced its first, fully electric SUV, the Maserati Grecale Folgore. The compact electric SUV will be available on the market in 2023.  The vehicle is Maserati's entry point into the luxury electric SUV global marketplace, which is burgeoning with new entrees and accelerating growth.  The Grecale, named after a Mediterranean Sea wind, is part of a series of new EVs from Maserati that will be sold under the Folgore nameplate. Folgore in English means lightening, and Maserati's first EV is expected to be just that - fast with style and lots of sizzle. They include huge helium blimps for flying and inflatable air basements for sailing.  Breakthrough Aviation and Yachting Technologies Air Yacht is equipped with two identical blimps filled with 400,000 cubic meters of helium. The helium gives lift to the zero emissions vessel's flights. The blimps are driven by 8 electric motors.   Mid-Sized Motorcycles Driving Adventures Motorcycling's ADV Adventure Segment is Booming in Popularity The mid-sized, ADV adventure segment of motorcycle riding is booming in popularity.  It's a fun sport, athletic and keeps you outdoors. And it's relatively inexpensive to buy a vehicle, which you can also use for highway commuting.  Now, nearly 100-year-old Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati and its latest bike Desert X have joined the ADV race, that includes BMW, Yamaha and KMW.  Desert X is an all new, all terrain bike that packs 108 hp at 9,250 rpm and 68 ft lbs of torque at 6500 rpm.  Desert X will hit dealer showrooms in May 2022.  The starting price is $16,795.00 and the technology is impressive.  Ducati is owned by Audi via its Italian subsidiary Lamborghini.   Tech Specs The Desert X is powered by the 11 degree, Testastretta Desmodromic L-twin engine, used in the Monster bike.   Racing at Ferrari's New Legoland California Racetrack                                        Source:  Lego and Ferrari Fabled F40  This is new innovation with plenty of horsepower.  Legendary, luxury automaker Ferrari is partnering with Lego on a new, interactive and virtual racing experience for kids at the Legoland California resort.  Called Lego Ferrari Build and Race, it is the world's first Ferrari racing attraction. Kids will be able to build their own miniature Formula One race car with Lego bricks and then test and race it on one of three Ferrari racetracks. Apple iPhone manufacturer Foxconn, headquartered in Taiwan, has combined with Italy's leading luxury car design studio Pininfarina  to create an all-electric sedan.  The vehicle is called the Foxtron Model E and the company says it is going full throttle into the electric car business.  The new EV is sleek, stylish and contains state of the art technology.  It raises an intriguing question.  Could Foxconn, which is a trusted iPhone manufacturer for Apple, possibly end up becoming the manufacturer for Apple's long anticipated electric car?  That is a very valid, open question, but we will all just have to wait and see.  In the meantime, the new Foxtron is a very impressive automotive design and contains leading edge technology.
