Flying Cars Ready for Production

Their time is about to come.  Three flying cars are now at the tipping point of going into production for sales in global markets.  The vehicles ready for takeoff, that are road legal with wings, include Slovakia-based Klein Vision's AirCar, Dutch company PAL-V International's Liberty Sport and Oregon-based Samson Sky's Switchblade.  They are heralding in a brand-new form of travel. Switchblade US-based Sampson Sky is promising deliveries of its 3-wheel flying car Switchblade in 2024. Slovakia's Flying Car Certified to Fly

  Slovakia's Klein Vision Air Car                                          Source:  Klein Vision AirCar Dawn of a New Type of Travel There's a big breakthrough for the global flying car industry.  Slovakia based Klein Vision's AirCar has been awarded a certificate of airworthiness allowing it to fly.  The flying car has completed 70 hours of rigorous flight tests including more than 200 take-offs and landings.  It's a landmark event heralding the dawn of a new mode of travel.  The certificate was awarded by the Slovak Transport Authority.  A pilot's license is required to fly the vehicle. Tech Specs With the press of a button, AirCar can transform from a car to a plane in 2 minutes and 15 seconds.  It's powered by a 140 hp,1.6-liter, 4-cylinder BMW combustion engine. Tech Specs The AirCar has an estimated range of 621 miles.  It is the invention of Professor Stephan Klein.  The vehicle is powered by a 1.6-liter BMW engine with 140 hp.  It is lightweight at only 2,425 pounds.
