  D AILY INNOVATION BRIEF                                                                                                          By Journalists Edward Kane & Maryanne Kane  ELECTRIC CHEVY CORVETTE COMING SOON                                                                                          Source:  GM The President of Chevrolet Mark Reuss announced today that Chevy will produce an all-electric Corvette That's a first, as is the hybrid model that will precede the fully-electric Vette to market The hybrid will hit the market very soon and the all-electric version will be available next year Experts are saying these will also be the first 4-wheel-drive Corvettes It could also be a completely new model Currently the Corvette Stingray is available with a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 495 hp There's also a recently announced 670 hp Corvette Z06 with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that is coming out GM intends to offer only 0-emissions vehicles by 2035.
