D A ILY INNOVATION BRIEF   By Journalists Edward  Kane & Marya nne Kane SONY-HONDA PLAYSTATION EV STEALS THE SHOW AT CES 2024                                                            Source:  Sony Sony's President unveiled their new EV Afeela at CES 2024 by using a Playstation controller to drive it onto the stage.  It made quite a splash!! Here are some key facts:  Afeela is under development through a partnership between Sony and Honda, called Sony Honda Mobility, to transform the EV industry The new EV concept was driven onto the CES stage via a remote DuelSense controller The capability of driving the car remotely was remarkable but it was an event just for CES 2024; it's not expected to be present in the EV when it hits the market  Sony is also working with Microsoft to have AI incorporated into Afeela by the time it hits global markets Afeela provides a fresh look at the potentialities of the future of driving.
