  Bold New Design That Stands Out                                                                           Source:  Toyota Part Sedan - Part SUV Toyota is resurrecting its longest running model name with the unveiling of its new hybrid flagship sedan, the 2023 Toyota Crown.  The hybrid-electric vehicle will replace the Toyota Avalon in the Japanese automaker's lineup.  The Crown has quite the pedigree, dating back to 1955.  It became the first Japanese car sold in the US in 1958.  For 15 generations, the Crown was Toyota's premiere sedan.  The new Crown is much taller than a sedan with a high-riding SUV-like body.  Automotive experts are hailing the design as bold and blurring the lines between a SUV and a sedan.  It's a one-of-a-kind small SUV/sedan in the global automotive market.  Tech Specs The Crown will actually be a series of vehicles crossing vehicle classes.  It will be available with a choice of two different powertrains and 3 grades:  Crown XLE, Limited and Plat

  New E-Bike Designed for Urban Biking                                                       Source:  RipRacer New Biking Tech San Diego based Juiced Bike is launching its newest electric bike - the RipRacer.  The bike is designed to be different and customized for urban biking.  The company calls it a "fun sized bike" with a smaller frame and smaller 20-inch fat tires.  Although specifically targeted for city biking, it still can be used on trails and dirt.  It is built to be more maneuverable, agile and nimble for cycling around cities. Globally, e-biking is a huge travel trend and a $20 billion growing industry.  The new RipRacer is being manufactured in China, which is the #1 hot spot for e-biking in the world. US EV Startup Rivian Going Public

  EV Rivian To IPO On Nasdaq                                                  Source:  Rivian Multi Billion IPO on Nasdaq Irvine, California based electric vehicle maker Rivian is considered by many to be the leader of EV startups.  The company is expected to go public this week.  It is looking for a valuation of $65 billion which would put in the major leagues alongside of Ford, which is valued at $77 billion, and GM, which is valued at $85 billion.  Many stock market analysts and automotive experts are asking is Rivian the next Tesla?  It certainly does have big backers. Amazon With a 20% Stake The company is backed by Ford and Amazon, which has a 20% stake. Rivian plans to list on the Nasdaq with the symbol "RIVN".  Despite the fact that it is a startup, the company has a revenue stream.   Aronso E-Trace From France Source:  Aronso E-Trace Unique Electric Snow Vehicle For Fun, Zero Emissions Rides The Aronso E-Trace is a unique all-electric vehicle combination of a snow sled and an electric mountain bike.  It's the invention of French startup Arosno, which calls it the world's 1st electric snow-bike for fun, zero emissions rides in the snow.  This new EV was unveiled at EuroBike 2021 in Germany.  Unlike a high octane vehicle like a snowmobile that pollutes a pristine snowy environment, the E-Trace is zero-emissions, puts your foot to the pedal, travels at a safe and reasonable speed and lets the untrained have some great fun pedaling it across the snow.
