  Yanfeng's XiM23                                                  Source:  Yanfeng Future of Luxury Tech Driving Just unveiled in Germany, the XiM23 is the digital/connected, luxurious new car concept being developed by leading, global automotive supplier Yanfeng. Yanfeng is a $16 billion innovator of "smart car cabins" headquartered in Shanghai, China. Their automotive vision of the XiM23 is based on their proprietary research, the Luxury Research Study, into the driving public's priorities for the "perfect car". Their findings on desired new car innovations are being incorporated, particularly into the car's interior space, to change the driver's and passengers' experiences during their journeys.  The highly advanced digital technologies being deployed are designed to convert the car's interior into a user-centric experience.  In essence, this new car concept is the result of the combination of highly advanced digital and luxury features.

Triton's Luxury Submersible with Panoramic Underwater Views                                                                                                Source:  Triton Like an Entertainment Center Under the Sea There is a front row seat available for you to explore life underwater.  Florida-based submarine maker Triton has created an underwater excursion vehicle that provides panoramic views as you travel through the water.  The Triton 660/9 AVA and the smaller Triton 660/7 are uniquely designed submersibles that offer plenty of space.  Thanks to its free-form pressurized acrylic hull, Triton has three times the interior space of a typical submersible of a similar footprint.  It can comfortably carry eight passengers and a pilot for underwater expeditions.  The company says it's designed for entertainment and adventure.  They add it can serve as an underwater entertainment venue, including a luxury restaurant, cocktail bar and even a wedding venue. Genesis GV80 2020 Source:  Hyundai Available in South Korea, Coming to US Hyundai's Genesis GV80 is the South Korean automaker's first luxury SUV.  Of great interest, it has an advanced augmented reality navigation system with displays to help the driver better understand the road.  The vehicle has concept car styling and a 14.5 inch infotainment screen. It's available in South Korea and will be coming to the US this summer. Loaded with Advanced Technology The GV80 has three rows of seats and is loaded with technology including a new system that detects driver drowsiness or inattention behind the wheel.  It also has a handwriting recognition interface and advanced safety features.  It packs a 3.0-litre turbocharged, 6 cylinder, diesel engine.  When it reaches the US, gas engine options will be available. New Concept Car Getting Raves at NYC Auto Show

Genesis Concept Car: Luxurious, Small, Electric Source:  Genesis The Genesis Mint Korean luxury automaker Genesis unveiled its newest concept car at the New York International Auto Show that opened today.  It's called the Genesis Mint.  It's a 2 door electric car, that's getting rave reviews from attendees and the press.  It's a small, luxurious, 2-seater that is battery electric powered.  It's designed for city driving. Sporty and Futuristic The Mint is the size of a Fiat with a range of 200 miles and has a quick recharge.  It's futuristic looking, sporty with a minimalist interior.  The driver and passenger share a leather bench between the two front seats.  No word on price or plans for production.  But in this case, a picture is worth a thousand words.  Genesis was spun off from Hyundai three years ago.  It currently has three luxury sedans available for sale in the US that are targeted at customers interested in Mercedes, BMW and Audi.
