New 2023 Corvette Z06 is a Supercar

  Reinvention of the Iconic Brand                                                  Source:  Corvette Hard Core Track Ready Vette With the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06, Chevrolet has reinvented the iconic sports car into a track-ready supercar.  Chevy's primary goal with the new Vette is to redesign and redefine it into the rarified league of genuine supercars like the Lamborghini and Ferrari.  Chevy has infused the power and the fury of a hard-core track-ready supercar into the Vette with a new LT6 5.5-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine, along with a Tremec sourced, 8-speed dual clutch gearbox that pushes the power to the rear wheels for quick takeoff and blistering speeds.  The Z06 can hit speeds of 198 mph and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6 seconds...all of which places it well into supercar territory.   Ford's GT LM Limited Edition Supercar                                                  Source:  Ford Car Pays Tribute to Ford's 2016 Le Mans Win Production will end on Ford's supercar, the Ford GT, at the end of 2022, but Ford has one last, exclusive, special edition to send it off.  The Ford GT LM limited edition was just unveiled, and it is designed to celebrate the 2016 Le Mans win by the Ford GT Number 68 as well as the historic, Ford racing car's 1-2-3 finish in 1966.  The Ford GT LM even celebrates the racing car's colors of red and blue with a red tinted carbon fiber exterior and a blue or red driver's seat.  For Ford, the GT LM is the supercar of all supercars.   The New Alpine A4810 Hydrogen Supercar                                             Source:  Alpine A4810 Design Collaboration Between Alpine Cars & IED France-based, Renault-owned Alpine, which is a distinguished race and sports car maker, and Turin, Italy based Instituto Europeo di Design (IED) have designed a hydrogen powered supercar. The first sketches of it have just been unveiled and the vehicle will debut on March 18, 2022. It is called the Alpine A4810 and represents a vision for the future of the French car brand.  The design is a very sporty, 2 seat vehicle with a hydrogen powertrain.  28 graduate students from one of the top transportation design schools in the world and Alpine's design studio created the design.  They say the hydrogen car "represents the extreme sportiness of the future" that's more technological and sustainable. New Model Lamborghini To Debut at Frankfurt Auto Show

Dark Image New Vehicle Tease on Lamborghini Instagram Channel  Source:  Lamborghini May Be Their First Hybrid Vehicle for the Roads Lamborghini has released a big dark teaser image of a vehicle it's going to unveil at the world largest auto show, the 2019 Frankfurt Auto Show, that opens on September 12.  Lamborghini posted the image on their official Instagram Channel with the tag "Just open your eyes to the future". Is It Lamborghini's First Hybrid? Automotive experts say it looks like a low-slung supercar with Y-shaped LED running lights.  There is speculation that it may be or may have taken styling and engineering details from the much acclaimed Terzo Millennio concept unveiled by Lamborghini as a design study in 2017.
