  World's First Autonomous Snowblower                        Let the Robot Do the Shoveling A new, intelligent robot, developed by China's Hanyang Technology Company's robotics group Hanyang Robotics, could make snow shoveling obsolete.  Snowbot is an intelligent, autonomous, robotic snowblower that can clear 1500 square feet of snow on a single charge.  Snowbot can scoop up and blow away up to a foot of snow.  It is totally autonomous and powered by electric motors.  It can be controlled with an app on your phone or by remote control.  And, unlike current snowblowers powered by diesel, Snowbot is totally emissions free.  The company says it is the world's first autonomous snowblower.  It can clean 1.3 feet of snow per second.   EdisonFuture's Solar Powered Multi-Purpose Van and Pickup Truck Growing Push Toward Zero Emissions Driving Solar powered electric vehicles are starting to come on strong.  Chinese automaker EdisonFuture has unveiled a solar powered all-purpose modern van called the EF1-V.  The solar van is designed for multiple uses including for families, work, travel and for hauling cargo.  EdisonFuture says the solar EV works off-road and on city streets.  And it will be offered in several cargo sizes from 260 to 400 cubic feet of cargo space depending on the drivers' needs. Tech Specs The EF1-V comes with the choice of two powertrain options: a Standard single motor or the Long Range dual motor version.  The solar EV can tow 7,500 to 11,000 pounds depending on the version.  Price and the range of the EV have not yet been disclosed.   From China's Xpeng, a Flying & Driving Car                                             Source:  Xpeng Flying Cars For Purchase by Customers in 2024 A flying car startup backed by Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng says it will deliver flying cars to customers in 2024.  Startup Xpeng Heitech says the car will be capable of driving on the road and flying in the skies.  The range of the EV on the road will be 370 miles on a single charge.  Xpeng CEO Zhao Deli made the announcement to the World New Energy Vehicle Congress.  The flying car startup currently has 400 employees.  But CEO Deli intends to nearly double the number of employees in order to start production of the flying cars for customers.  Xpeng is a major competitor of Tesla in the Chinese electric vehicle marketplace.  Deli did not disclose the range of the vehicle while flying. Current Capabilities The X2 can operate on a full charge for 35 minutes and flies to a maximum altitude of 3,280 feet.  Top speed is 81 mph.  The current model can carry two people, has a closed cockpit and the fuselage is made of carbon fiber.  It weighs 870 pounds with the battery and can carry a maximum load of 440 pounds.
