Harley's 1 of a Kind E-Bike

  Limited Edition of Harley's 1st Electric Bike                               Source:  Harley Davidson Mosh/Tribute Mosh/Tribute Serial 1 E-Bike In a surprise move, Harley Davidson is selling a limited edition version of its first electric bike.  The bike was originally categorized as an aesthetic "styling exercise".  Now Harley's e-bike subsidiary Serial 1 has made the e-bike, called the Mosh/Tribute, available for sale.  The e-bike is a tribute to Harley's first motorcycle, the Serial Number One, built in 1903.  The e-bike is a one of a kind. Zero Emissions and Performance The bike runs on a Brose S MAG motor that produces 66 ft-lbs of torque and a top speed of 20 mph.  It comes in three sizes to accommodate drivers of different heights.  It's a very nostalgic, traditional looking bike modeled with a leather seat, glossy black paint and white Schwalbe Super Moto-X tires.  The tires, which give extra traction on the road, are designed exclusively for Serial 1

  LiveWire One Electric Motorcycle                                                   Source: Harley Davidson LiveWire One (Top) & LiveWire Green, Clean Electric Biking Harley-Davidson is doubling up on its push for electric bikes.  Its latest battery powered motorcycle is the LiveWire One, which is more affordably priced than the original LiveWire.  The actual sticker price of the new model is $21,999.  With the federal tax credit, most customers will pay less than $20,000. for the new bike, which will roll out in a few weeks and can be ordered online. Hybrid Shopping Approach Sales will start in the US in three states: California, Texas and New York.  Harley is making the retail experience "hybrid" for the customer.  The customer can do most of their shopping online and then take delivery of the bike at a local Harley Davidson dealership. The company will be expanding retail distribution into 2022. Range & Charging Time LiveWire will be able to travel 146 city miles

E-Bikes: Big Urban Trend, Serial 1's New Bikes

  New, Urban Electric Commuting                                       Source:  Serial 1 Cycle Company New Form of Travel Harley Davidson's spinoff company Serial 1 Cycle Company has just introduced four new e-bike models.  There are three new models of the Rush/Cty speed e-bike priced from $4,399 to $4,999 and one new model of the $3,399 Mosh/City e-bike.  These bikes are getting rave reviews for innovation, styling and smooth riding.  Serial 1 is an independent electric bike brand, but Harley Davidson holds a minority stake in the company. Many former Harley engineers work there.  Serial 1 is the beneficiary of Harley Davidson's decades of top-of-the-line motorcycle technology. Competitive Bike Lanes E-bikes are exploding in popularity as commuters look to avoid pubic transit and exposure to COVID by doing solo urban commutes.  The trend is so strong that Ford and Jeep have introduced their own e-bike brands.  The partnership with Harley gives Serial 1 some big advantages.  Se
