It's a vital, majestic, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) that is inspired by Formula 1 race cars and has the luxurious interior of a hot sports car.  This new hybrid powertrain vehicle is a first for Aston Martin and marks the beginning of a new automotive journey for the luxury carmaker which was secret agent 007 James Bond's favorite way to drive. Tech Specs The vehicle is among the fastest supercars ever created. Top speed is 217 mph, and it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 2.5 seconds.

US-Based MagniX and Brazil's Desaer Partner on Electric Aircraft                                             Source:  Desaer and MagniX E-Plane Uses Significantly Less Fuel With Reduced Emissions An important, global partnership has been announced in the development of electric powered aircraft.  Everett, Washington based MagniX and Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Desaer have formed a partnership to develop a hybrid electric plane for regional commuting.  The plane will be an electric hybrid version of Desaer's ATL-100 regional aircraft.  The hybrid electric propulsion system is being developed by MagniX.  The environmental importance of this new aviation technology is significant.  The companies say the new plane will operate with 25 to 40% less fuel consumption depending on the range. Ferrari's First SUV is Hybrid Electric

 Stunning   Hybrid Electric Luxury SUV                                       Source: Stock - Ferrari's Purosangue Ferrari Joins the Luxury SUV Business Italian-based, luxury sports car maker Ferrari is building its first SUV - the hybrid electric Purosangue.  Deliveries to customers will start in 2023.  The EV is currently undergoing road testing in Europe.  These are the first unobscured images of the vehicle without camouflage.  Clearly, the Purosangue, which is Italian for thoroughbred, is stunning. What We Know Ferrari has closely kept the wraps on this new vehicle.  But it is a 4 door, sleek, long and low riding SUV.  It has a long front, a slopping roof and long, curvy hood and sides.  The rear sports a full length lightbar that connects to two sets of taillights and a tailgate.  Ferrari has not disclosed technical details yet.  But it is expected that the vehicle will be offered with an 800 hp V-12 and a V-6 hybrid electric powertrain.  It may also be available as a turbocha

New eVTOL Could Be the Gamechanger

  Zuri 2.0 eVTOL Has 435 Mile Range Source:  Zuri Highly Advanced Hybrid Electric Flying Machine Prague, Czech Republic-based, urban air mobility startup Zuri has unveiled a long distance, unmanned eVTOL (electric, vertical takeoff and landing) vehicle. The aircraft has a big range of 435 miles which could make it an industry gamechanger.  To date, most eVTOLs have had very limited range: many in the neighborhood of 50 to 100 miles.  Zuri extended the vehicle's range by using a hybrid electric powertrain.  Zuri 2.0 is designed to carry 4 to 5 passengers for regional travel.  The company has also unveiled a cargo version of the eVTOL.  Both versions fly by autopilot.  All phases of the flight are unmanned. Technology Details Zuri is a hybrid eVTOL with eight tilting electric motors (4 propellers in the front and 4 propellers in the back) for vertical takeoffs and landings.  There's a turboprop engine for forward flight.  It can fly 435 miles in less than 3 hours.   New French, Hybrid VTOL "ATEA"                              Source:  Ascendance Flight Technologies Ascendance Flight Technologies' New Green Aviation French aviation startup Ascendance Flight Technologies has invented a new, hybrid, vertical takeoff and landing vehicle (VTOL) for intracity and regional aircraft commuting.  The 5-seat ATEA uses two forward facing propellers and 8 fan engines in its wings.  The eight electric powered fan engines enable vertical takeoffs and landings.  The diesel fuel powered forward facing propellers enable forward flight.  The unique VTOL has a range of 250 miles.  Its hybrid powertrain uses jet fuel and electricity as power sources.  The company says the combination cuts carbon emissions by 80%.  Importantly, AETA can be reconfigured to use green fuels, including hydrogen fuel cells, biofuels and sustainable aviation fuels to further cut down on emissions.
