Wrangler with Near Zero Emissions

Like the rest of the global automotive industry, Jeep Wrangler's future is electric.  We now have the first example of a more environmentally friendly Jeep Wrangler.  Thirteen years in research and development, the 2021 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe plug-in hybrid is rolling out in showrooms.  It is the most fuel efficient Wrangler to date and also the second most powerful after the 392 V-8 model.  Jeep says the vehicle can go 40 miles on electricity alone, close to 400 miles on a full tank and a full charge and use only 8 gallons of gas doing it.  The new hybrid, when used in electric and electric hybrid mode, is very close to zero emissions driving and as good for the environment as you can get in the very popular Jeep Wrangler.

Tech Specs

With a fully charged battery, the plug-in hybrid turbocharged engine produces 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle can go from 0 to 60 mph in 6 seconds.  This is a very hefty vehicle.  In fact, at 5,322 pounds it is the heavy weight of Wranglers.  The hybrid powertrain and 17.3 kWh battery system have added significant weight and experts say the combo have provided the vehicle with greater stability for off-roading.  On a full battery, it gets 49 mpg-e.  Driving on gasoline provides 20 mpg.

Serious Off-roading Capabilities

The new 4xe is a powerful off-roader, including in its near silent electric mode.  Jeep promises several hours of serious off-roading on a full charge.  According to automotive experts, the hybrid electric vehicle is a serious off-roader that seamlessly blends gas power with the electric motor.  This is a very important first step by Jeep for the future of electric driving and electric off-roading. Prices start at the $56,200. To take a look at many more exciting vehicles, go to https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B08YTGFCG2&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_677Y2C37A7TEM4PA3D5E
