World's 1st Jet Ski with V8 Engine

  World First - Strand Craft V8 Daytona GT                                                                 Source:  Strand Craft V8 Daytona GT Powerful Vehicle For Fun on the Water Norwegian superyacht designer Kurt Strand has created the world's 1st V8 engine powered jet ski.  The powerful watercraft is called the Strand Craft V8 Daytona GT.  Strand is currently based in Florida and jet skis are among his favorite past times.  This is the most powerful jet ski ever created.  It is a watercraft first. Strand Craft V8 Daytona GT The jet ski is sleek and big:  17 feet long, 5 feet wide and it weighs 1,250 pounds.  It is powered by a supercharged 6.2 liter aluminum V8 engine.  Strand calls the watercraft "beautiful, powerful and luxurious...a model that marries power and speed to grace and elegance."  This concept took Strand five years to develop.   Slovakia's AirCar Takes First Intercity Flight                                                  Source:  KleinVision A Flying Car That Drives and Flies Slovakia's Klein Vision has made flying car history.  Its AirCar, a combination car and aircraft, has completed its first intercity flight in Slovakia.  The flight lasted 35 minutes.  Within two minutes and 15 seconds of landing, it converted into a sportscar and drove to Bratislava, Slovakia -- the destination in its journey from Nitra, Slovakia. Tech Specs The AirCar Prototype 1 is the invention of University of Munster Professor Stefan Klein and has been developed by his company Klein Vision.  Prototype 1 has a 160 horsepower fixed propeller engine and Prototype 2 will have a 300 horsepower engine.  AirCar has a range of 621 miles.  Top air speeds are 186 mph.  The aircraft can fly up to 600 miles at an altitude of 8,200 feet.  It runs on gasoline. Upcoming Roadster with SpaceX Rocket Thruster Package Option Can Briefly Fly                                                       Source:  Tesla Source:  Tesla CEO Elon Musk & Flying Cars Tesla CEO Elon Musk says his Tesla Roadster, to be released in 2022, is a flying car when coupled with his SpaceX Rocket Thruster package option.  However, it flies for just a few seconds.  The SpaceX rocket thruster option package equips the electric sports car with ten, cold air, rocket thrusters strategically positioned around the vehicle.  The configuration enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 1.1 seconds.  That level of acceleration is historic and a record breaker.  Musk says the speed sensation is similar to that of a hardcore roller coaster.  He says "it's safe but very intense and not wise for those with a medical condition."
