California Start-up Zoetic AI Developing the Tech Zoetic AI's KiKi New World of Robo-Pets KiKi is a little, robot companion that's a bit of a genius.  It learns from its environment through touch, sight and hearing.  The company is further developing this petbot over this year but there's a lot of interesting tech in it already.  KiKi is enabled by Artificial Intelligence to learn from and interact with its owner and environment. Tiny, Elastic Microrobots to Deliver Targeted Drug Therapies Source:  EPFL Breakthrough Robotic Innovation from Switzerland Scientists at the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL) and ETH Zurich have developed very smart, highly flexible microrobots.  They can change shape depending on their surroundings . For Targeted Drug Therapy Delivery The tiny robots are modeled on microorganisms like bacteria that change shape as their surrounding conditions change.  They are fully biocompatible.  The bots optimize their movements in order to get to hard to reach places in the human body.  They're thought to have the potential to revolutionize targeted drug delivery. All New, All Electric Harley-Davidson LiveWire Source:  Harley's 2019 LiveWire Four Year Development Project Ready to Deliver If you are interested in motorcycles and electric, green vehicles, you are going to be fascinated by this news.  Harley-Davidson is delivering on a four year development project and its commitment to make and sell an all-electric motorcycle.  Their LiveWire all-electric motorcycle is going to market in August 2019. The company says it's green, quiet and the "loudest sound you'll hear is your heart beating" as it accelerates at rapid speed. Tech Specs The bike goes from zero to 60 mph in under 3.5 seconds.  All you need to do is twist the throttle and take off.  No clutch to release and no gears to run through. The estimated range on the battery is 110 miles.  The battery can be charged on the road at any public Level 3 DC Fast Charge station or at home on a standard outlet.  The price starts at $29,799.

Global Expansion The innovative technology company is expanding globally.  It's in Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore and planning to enter Saudi Arabia soon.  The device takes into account age, weight, goals, pre-existing medical conditions and recommends customized "smart meal plans". Constellations of Small Satellites Source:  Airbus Airbus Wins Blackjack Program Contract DARPA, the US Defense Department's Advanced Research Projects Agency, just awarded Airbus a contract to develop a satellite bus for its Blackjack program.  Blackjack is a satellite architecture for the US military.  Essentially, it is the utilization of constellations of small satellites in low orbit for the military. DARPA's New Small Satellite System DARPA plans on pairing the satellite buses with military sensors and payloads.  The buses will generate power for the satellites, provide propulsion and transmit spacecraft telemetry.  The use of small, inexpensive satellite constellations for military purposes is a concept DARPA has been developing over the past several years.  For more news stories on innovation, go to  amazon.com/author/ekane
