Hyundai's New, Agile, Balancing Robot

  MobED or Mobile Eccentric Droid                                                       Source:  Hyundai Incredible Piece of Robotic Technology For the first time since Hyundai took a controlling stake in global robotics leader Boston Dynamics, it has released a remarkable new robot.  It's a 4 wheeled robot called MobED for Mobile Eccentric Droid.  This droid is outstanding for its precision, maneuverability, mobility and stability.  It is capable of carrying precariously stacked champagne glasses up an incline.  Right now, it is designed to carry small objects but eventually it could be used to carry people.  MobED will make its official debut at the January 2022 CES show in Las Vegas at which time availability and price should be disclosed by Hyundai. It will roll out in late 2022.  Lexus has also unveiled a fleet of all-electric concept vehicles, including a supercar, a big SUV and a sedan.  For Lexus, this is the start of their future of electromobility.  They have big plans and target selling nothing but electric vehicles in the US, Europe and China by 2030.  Lexus says it will be selling only EVs globally by 2035.  And by 2030, it plans to be selling 3.5 million EVs a year. With Toyota and Lexus cutting edge technologies, it should be an epic new ride. Alice isn't on a drawing board.  The e-plane has 92 orders from regional US air carrier Cape Air that serves primarily the Northeast US, logistical giant DHL Express for a dozen aircraft and others.  Eviation expects to deliver its first aircrafts to first buyer Cape Air. The introduction to the market will be in 2023.  This is electric aviation to watch as the e-planes taxis for takeoff. Eviation also has operations in Seattle, Washington.
