CLEANING ROBOT TO RESCUE                                                                                Source:  UC Berkeley Scientists have developed a robot that can spot and pick up clothes thrown around the room.  Here's what we know: Developed by scientists at UC Berkeley Uses AI to find most efficient way to collect dropped laundry Utilizes color and depth-sensing cameras to collect laundry into piles Picks up clothes with a controlling robotic arm Given its additional ability to stack clothes into piles, the robot is considered to be 67% more efficient than the traditional, by hand method The AI cleaning robot could be very useful for seniors, at hotels and hospitals It's expected to be commercially available within 10 years. D A ILY INNOVATION BRIEF                By Journalists Edward  Kane & Marya nne Kane NASA IS TESTING MARS HELICOPTER IN 2 WORLDS                                                                                          Source:  NASA NASA is conducting dual-planet tests on its Mars helicopter.  Here are some key facts: This is the first time in history that 2 planets are home to testing future aircraft designs In California, NASA is testing a new motor for the next-G Mars helicopter that spins at near supersonic speeds (0.95 Mach) Simultaneously, on Mars, the Ingenuity Mars helicopter is achieving new altitude and air speed records in Mars' incredibly thin atmosphere and very low gravity The dual-planet tests are enhancing knowledge of how rotor-technology flies in different atmospheres. The unique approach that NASA is using also lets you know how the rotor-tech flies on different planets. SUBARU'S FLYING CAR                                                     Source:  Subar
