UBER EATS DEPLOYING 2,000 AI-POWERED ROBOTS





  • Uber Eats is going to deploy 2,000 AI-powered robots across the US by 2026 to deliver and drop-off food orders
  • Robot deliveries will be available through the app to select customers
  • The bots have 4 wheels, are self-driving and are the creation of robotics company Serve
  • They can carry 50 pounds of food for 25 miles on a single charge
  • Soon, in major cities in the US, your Uber Eat's salads, burritos and other foods will be coming by robot with human-contact free deliveries
  • The customer unlocks the robot to retrieve the food by using a secret code
  • The robo-deliveries are part of Uber's plan to be a zero-emissions mobility platform by 2040.

  • NASA is holding an historic public meeting on UFOs, bringing the once scoffed at subject into the mainstream
  • This will be NASA's first update on the status and investigation of unidentified flying objects in the skies
  • Pentagon and FAA officials will present their agencies findings on UFOs
  • NASA has established an independent task force which has been studying UFOs in the skies and also in the oceans since September 2022
  • The forum is expected to last 4 hours and will provide a "scientific perspective" on the search for extraterrestrial life and UFOs
  • The Pentagon recently documented 650 unidentified aerial phenomena cases that cannot be explained
  • Update:  NASA presented some new cases including an unexplainable metallic aerial orb in the Middle East last year
  • They are getting 50 to 100 new reports a month
  • NASA says it will release a full report with more findings in July.

  • Chinese automaker BYD's Seagull is arguably the hottest EV in the world with a starting price of $11,300
  • The very capable EV had thousands of pre-orders right out of the box and now is exclusively on sale in China
  • At the moment BYD has no plans to sell the EV anyplace else
  • Seagull comes in 3 trims, all built on BYD's e-platform 3.0 with a 74-hp, single front electric motor
  • Top speed is 80 mph
  • Top trim starts at $13,000 and has a 38 kWh battery pack and 251 mile range
  • Other 2 trims have 30 kWh battery with 189 mile range
  • Recharge on the 3 trims is from 30% to 80% in 30 minutes
  • Interior is simple with physical buttons, a 7" dashboard display and 11.1" infotainment display
  • Many Americans and Europeans are saying why don't we have an affordable EV like this here?
