A FLYING TESLA?

  • Tesla founder & CEO Elon Musk says he intends to put SpaceX technology into his upcoming Roadster Generation 2 and it may be a flying car.  Here are some key facts:
  • Musk says the new Roadster will contain some "rocket-y stuff"
  • It may use rocket technology from SpaceX
  • It could be a flying car with "Jetson vibes" referring to the futuristic cartoon show of the 1960's
  • Musk says the new Roadster is "not really a car" and will be unveiled later this year
  • It may be the fastest production car in history with top speeds in excess of 250 mph and the capacity to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than a second
  • Range will be more than 620 miles
  • Musk predicts his 2025 Roadster will far surpass the Cybertruck in technological capabilities.
CLIMATE CHANGE IS SMASHING RECORDS

  • According to the recent World Meteorological Report, climate change is not just breaking records, it's smashing them...greatly challenging humanity.  Warning sirens are blaring across all major indicators.  Here are some key, record-breaking level indicators from the Report:
  1. Rising sea levels
  2. Glacier withdrawals
  3. Air surface temperatures are up
  4. Greenhouse gas emissions are up
  5. Ocean heat-up - heatwaves in 33% of world oceans
  6. Antarctic sea ice far below any previous record
  7. Switzerland lost 10% of its glaciers in just 2 years
  • By 2060, climate change could cost humanity $24 trillion
  • By breaking every single climate indicator, it's clearly off the charts.

  China's SAIC Revolutionizes the Historic British MG Brand                                              Source:  MG Cyberster Electric MG Sport Car Concept Becomes a Reality The legendary sports car company MG was founded in the 1920's in Oxford, England. It enjoyed a long history of creating iconic MG, 2 seat sports cars. It is now China owned and China based, acquired a few years ago by SAIC Motors.  The new MG has a fabulous concept car the Cyberster.  It's an all electric sports car that was recently introduced at the Shanghai 2021 Motor Show.  MG just announced the vehicle is going from concept and into production.  MG calls it the "world's first purely electric e-sports cockpit".  The design of this electric vehicle is sleek, futuristic and highly styled with a wide grill that is a throwback to the original MGB as are the round headlights that open like eyes when the car is turned on.  It is truly an iconic, all electric sports car.
