World First: Mayflower Autonomous Ship's Transatlantic Crossing                                             Source:  IBM & ProMare UK to Nova Scotia With No Humans Onboard In an historic world first, the new Mayflower Autonomous Ship (MAS) this summer crossed the Atlantic Ocean from Plymouth, UK to Halifax, Nova Scotia captained solely by artificial intelligence.  The journey marks the world's first, fully autonomous transatlantic voyage.  This is a technological marvel by a robotic autonomous vessel 400 years after the Pilgrims set sail for America and established the Plymouth Colony. The planned destination was Plymouth, MA but the MAS encountered a defective generator starter charging circuit and anchored safety in Halifax for repairs, after completing a 3,500-mile, 40-day journey across the Atlantic Ocean.  Its final destination will be Washington, DC.   Stunning, New DBR22 - An Icon of Automotive Design Source:  Aston Martin A Rare Speedster For Two We all know that 007 James Bond's car of choice was the Aston Martin.  The British-based automaker, now owned by Canadian billionaire Lawrence Stroll, has just unveiled a stunning V-12 powered speedster that would provide 007 the epic ride of his life.  It's called the DBR22 and it celebrates the brand's open-cockpit winning race cars as well as the 10th anniversary of its Q division.  It's a carbon fiber, 2-seat speedster that is exquisitely designed and luxuriously accoutered.  The DBR22 is a design concept but Aston Martin says it will put it into production and make a limited number of the "ultra-exclusive" vehicles available for purchase. This is one of the rarest Aston Martin vehicles in the company's 109-year history.
