  Slovakia's AirCar Takes First Intercity Flight                                                  Source:  KleinVision A Flying Car That Drives and Flies Slovakia's Klein Vision has made flying car history.  Its AirCar, a combination car and aircraft, has completed its first intercity flight in Slovakia.  The flight lasted 35 minutes.  Within two minutes and 15 seconds of landing, it converted into a sportscar and drove to Bratislava, Slovakia -- the destination in its journey from Nitra, Slovakia. Tech Specs The AirCar Prototype 1 is the invention of University of Munster Professor Stefan Klein and has been developed by his company Klein Vision.  Prototype 1 has a 160 horsepower fixed propeller engine and Prototype 2 will have a 300 horsepower engine.  AirCar has a range of 621 miles.  Top air speeds are 186 mph.  The aircraft can fly up to 600 miles at an altitude of 8,200 feet.  It runs on gasoline. Plans for CityHawk CityHawk relies on hybrid propulsion and is designed for medical rescues particularly in urban areas.  It will be suited with a complete package of life support equipment.  It can support at least five people

 Lifestyle Vehicle -  Affordably Priced For an EV                                                                           Source:  Canoo Lifestyle Van Coming to Market 2022 Los Angeles based EV startup Canoo is rolling out in 2022 its much anticipated electric Lifestyle Vehicle at prices starting at a moderately priced $34,750 for an EV and accelerating to $49,950 for its top performing EV models.  The company is accepting $100 deposits for the EV, which goes into production and for deliveries in 2022. Canoo is also accepting $100 deposits on its electric pickup truck and electric delivery van, although production on those vehicles won't get underway until 2023. Lifestyle Range of 250 Miles The Lifestyle Vehicle runs on a 80 kWh battery pack that can produce 300 hp and 332 pound-feet of torque.  It's capable of 250 miles on a charge.  The vehicle charges up to 80% within a half hour.   From China, a Solar Powered, 3 Wheel Car Source:  Alibaba Price Is Right on the Tuk Tuk China's technology and e-commerce giant Alibaba has developed and is selling a solar powered electric car that operates on 3 wheels and has zero emissions.  It's a new form of personal mobility to navigate, particularly urban areas, at speeds up to 30 mph.  The most refreshing feature of the EV is the price - $1,691.  It's called the Tuk Tuk trike and some are calling it an auto rickshaw. Solar Driving The roof of the vehicle is covered with solar paneling.   The EV generates 300 watts of energy as its drives along in the sunshine.  The battery is a 60V 45Ah unit.  A full day of sun can give the vehicle a nearly complete charge of the 12.7 kWh pack.  There is also a standard roof, electric motor model available.  The vehicle can carry 6 to 8 passengers with 2 seats in the front and 2 benches in the back that are capable of seating 4 adults or 6 small children.  The vehicle is available

Highly Advanced Technology The Aska flies on six propellers, powered by six batteries and two gas motors to maintain the charge on the batteries.  It's a large vehicle that can carry four passengers and has a wingspan of 50 feet.  Top speeds are 150 mph with a 250 mile range.  It has retractable wings and can be driven on conventional roads.  It needs to take off and land at an airport.
