Exercise While You Travel with Zero Emissions

There's a new form of personal, pedal-power-travel rolling out in Europe.  DryCycle is a fully enclosed, electric motor assisted, electric bike. The enclosed body of the e-bike is car-like. It keeps the driver out of the elements like rain, unlike a regular bike.  The vehicle has four wheels, zero emissions and provides the rider exercise during the ride by pushing the pedals.  For a smooth ride, there are hydraulic disk brakes, front and rear suspension, an electric motor and sidekick style steering.  There are dual yellow handles on the dash that match universal bike handlebar standard specs, where you can also mount your phone.  DryCycle is a unique, hybrid micro-car and e-bike.

Green, Clean, Totally Enclosed E-Biking

DryCycle is rolling out this unusual e-bike first in Europe.  The top speed is 16 mph and the range on a full charge is 50 miles.  The e-bike is not self-propelled.  The rider pedals it forward with an assist from the electric Shimano motor powered by a 1 kW battery pack, just like an e-bike.  To ensure visibility, there are head lights, brake lights and turn signals.  The DryCycle is fully enclosed and has a full car seat that reclines for the cyclist.  There's a Shimano computer on the dash to monitor speed and energy levels.  Options include power locking and release of the canopy enclosure to hop in and GPS tracking.

No Driver's License Required

According to the company, DryCycle does not require a driver's license, insurance or registration.  They add everything is heated, including the driver's seat, steering handles and outside mirrors.  The starting price is $21,000.  It is a unique, green and exercise friendly way to do daily city commutes.  To take a look at Edward Kane's latest book, "New Travel Concepts", go to https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B098PH12XB&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_SJV1D196DECMYWV8PXYK   I co-authored the book with Ed.
