DIGITAL CONCEPT CAR INNOVATED IN THE METAVERSE

  •  Spanish automaker Cupra has conceived a digital concept car in the Metaverse
  • Called DarkRebel, it is entirely digital but it will go into production as a real, physical car
  • Created for Cupra VR brand Metahype, the virtual car is 'provocative', aerodynamic, sporty and edgy
  • DarkRebel has a number of unique features including illuminated tires, headlights embedded in the bodywork and more
  • It's all-electric with a sports car cabin and bucket seats
  • Gamified steering wheel to connect the driver to the virtual road
  • First step to market; Cupra's Metahype using its Hyper Configurator will let members design their own versions of DarkRebel
  • Next step; vehicles go into production.



SNAPCHAT GIVING OUT ITS AI CHATBOT FOR FREE 


                                            



  • Social media hot spot Snap Chat is releasing its AI chat bot, My AI for free to its 750 million members
  • It's an open AI chat bot and it's being added to group chat
  • It also will be making recommendations on features like AI filters and will soon start generating photos inside Snap Chat
  • Snap Chat is following in the footsteps of Open AI that has offered its system to its 3 million members
  • Microsoft and Google are also racing to integrate generative AI into their search engines
  • What's cool about Snap Chat is that members can create their own customized bot by changing the name and the look of the bot
  • AI chat box is a tremendously innovative and creative tool that seems to be accelerating in every industry and so many facets of life.


MAGPIE'S LONG RANGE SUSTAINABLE ELECTRIC FLYING




  • California-based Magpie Aviation has a `zero emissions sustainable approach to give electric planes long range through inflight towing
  • Magpie is testing its aero tow concept by which an electric plane mid-air would be towed and tethered to extend range by hundreds or even thousands of miles
  • Magpie is moving forward with an electric tow aircraft
  • They expect to deploy it by 2030 to do rapid inflight recharging of electric aircraft
  • This is important new technology to watch for electric planes that need long-range flying capabilities to be important in global aviation.
