LIVING TO 140 YEARS OLD - THE REAL GOLDEN OLDIES

  • According to new scientific research, people could be living to 140 in 19 nations, including the US, Japan & the UK, by the end of this century.
  • In fact, Japanese women could be the real Golden Oldies living to 145 years old
  • The reasons are the benefits of modern medicine that's been accelerating with innovations since the 1950s, including new therapies, medications, nutrition and lifestyle regimens
  • The research, led by University of Georgia's Dr. David McCarthy, analyzed data on aging patterns in 19 nations and found that living to 120 years old is likely to become the norm
  • The number of people passing the 100 year mark is steadily rising
  • At the moment, the oldest living person is a woman in Spain, who is a spritely 122 years old & says she's reached her age by having a positive attitude, luck & "avoiding toxic people"
  • According to Dr. McCarthy, "If there is a maximum limit to the human lifespan, we are not yet approaching it".
