The Zero Emissions Travel Revolution                                                  Source:  Lilium Lilium Acing Tests Flights and Going Public  Powered by 36 electric engines, Germany based Lilium's 5th generation demonstrator eVTOL is a sterling example of the zero emissions travel revolution that is rapidly emerging.  Lilium continues to go through test flights which demonstrate the aircraft's ability to very quietly vertically take off, fly, hover and vertically land like a helicopter.  The 36 electric engines are stacked across the wings.  The e-engines are powered by 72 battery module systems inside the aircraft.  Lilium has a top cruising speed of 175 mph at an altitude of 10,000 feet with a range of more than 155 miles on a charge.  Its first market for commercial operations is Florida with 14 cities as hubs for air taxi service within the next 3 to 4 years.  Flying taxis or eVTOLs are a disruptive, zero emissions, urban air mobility type of vehicle that are about t

World's 1st Jet Ski with V8 Engine

Strand Craft V8 Daytona GT The jet ski is sleek and big:  17 feet long, 5 feet wide and it weighs 1,250 pounds.  It is powered by a supercharged 6.2 liter aluminum V8 engine.  Strand calls the watercraft "beautiful, powerful and luxurious...a model that marries power and speed to grace and elegance."  This concept took Strand five years to develop. There appears to be nothing zero emissions, at the moment, about this incredible piece of technology.  It is using a V8 engine t

Elon Musk Underground Loop - Florida

Underground Passenger Loop Between Downtown Fort Lauderdale & Fort Lauderdale Beach Source:  The Boring Company's Vegas Tunnel The Las Olas Loop Elon Musk and his Boring Company have proposed an underground passenger transit tunnel for the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida to attain quick, easy access for residents and tourists from its downtown area of Las Olas to its popular Atlantic Ocean beaches. The proposal is at the request of the city of Fort Lauderdale.  If approved, the passenger transit tunnel will be called "The Las Olas Loop".  A vote on the proposed transit tunnel will be taken by the city government on Tuesday, July 6th.  If approved, it will be the first "loop tunnel" on the east coast and the second in the world.  Musk and his not-so-boring, Boring Company have completed a transportation tunnel for Las Vegas.  The Las Vegas Convention Center Loop became operational in June. Unique Travel Technology The Las Vegas Loop is 2 miles long and exten

Space Balloons - New Travel Vehicle

Space Balloons For a Leisurely Space Visit Source:  Space Perspective Space Trip With No Rockets & No Rocket Fuel Space Perspective, a human space flight company based in Cape Canaveral, Florida, is offering a unique space adventure.  Luxury balloon trips to 20 miles above the Earth into the stratosphere. There are no rockets and no rocket fuel involved.  The company says it is a safer and smoother way to experience the edges of space.  In fact, the approach is completely different from a rocket flight.  The space craft takes off at a leisurely pace of 12 mph.  A huge hot air balloon gently carries the passenger capsule aloft into the upper atmosphere and then gently returns it for a splashdown in the ocean, according to the company. Passenger Tickets to Space Space Perspective has started selling tickets for the first trip in late 2024 aboard the Spaceship Neptune.  It's a hot air balloon type space vehicle that gets lift from hydrogen.  The company is taking $1,000 deposits

US Air Force's X-37B Spaceplane - Clouded in Mysteries & Missions Successfully Lands After Record Orbit The US Air Force announced that its top secret, experimental spaceplane - the X-37B - just successfully landed at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in FL after a record flight. The spaceplane has been more than two years - 780 days - in orbital flight.  This is its longest test mission for a group of military technologies.  The X-37B is an experimental, test spaceship.  It was built by Boeing, is operated by the US Air Force and was launched into its latest mission aboard a SpaceX rocket. Clandestine Missions This is the spaceplane's 5th mission.  What the missions have entailed are for the most part a mystery.  They are top secret missions.  But we do know the purpose is to demonstrate new technologies, such as propulsion systems, avionics and spacecraft reentry systems for what the Air Force hopes will be a "reliable, reusable, unmanned space test pl
