 New Partnership Between Indian and Super 73 Produces Stunning e-Bike

The Hooligan 1.2

Legendary motorcycle maker Indian Motorcycles and e-bike maker Super 73, both headquartered in the US, have partnered to create a stunning new electric bike that is getting great reviews.  The new, all electric bike is called the eFTR Hooligan 1.2 or Hooligan for short.  The e-bike is a classic that does not require a special driver's license. It has some classic features that rollback to Indian's 112-year motorcycle history that began in Springfield, Massachusetts and now continues in Medina, Minnesota.

New e-Bike Design

The Hooligan base is that of the Super 73's very popular e-bike S2.  Indian used the S2's aluminum frame and added some big design upgrades from their motorcycle expertise and their bikes' legendary looks.  The Hooligan has an inverted telescoping front fork and also unique handlebars from Indian's FTR motorcycle line.  There are no fenders on the bike.  The seat has been extended and the e-bike is done up in Indian's classic red and black color scheme, along with the Indian logo.

Tech Details

The e-bike has a 960 Wh removable battery and an electric motor in the rear that generates up to 2,000 watts.  Top speed is 28 mph both on road and off-road.  The e-bike has 20-inch wheels, front and rear disc brakes and a nice 75 miles of assisted riding range for that extra push.  Indian's first e-bike goes on sale later in Spring 2022 and is priced at $3,999.  It will be available for purchase at Indian Motorcycle dealerships.  It has all the earmarking of a hot new, electric means of bike travel.  To take a look at more epic new rides, go to https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asin=B09NV2T6N3&preview=newtab&linkCode=kpe&ref_=cm_sw_r_kb_dp_80ST0GS0YF2N0TV8K269
