WASTE NO MORE: NEW DIGITAL TOOL TO SAFEGUARD BOOZE?

  • No more peeking into the small dark hole of a dark bottle to see how much is left....Bailey's Irish Cream has the high-tech answer.  Here's what we know:
  • An online tool has been developed by Bailey's Irish Cream liqueur to calculate the bottle's remaining amount
  • No need to shake it, guess the weight, or peer into it ...just blow on the top
  • Called "Sound Scales" - here's how the digital app works:
  1. Blow on top of the bottle and record on your phone
  2. Tell Bailey's the size of bottle and send recording of blowing on bottle
  3. Bailey's will calculate approximate volume remaining for you
  • Sound Scales can be used for other drinks in 700 ml or one-liter containers
  • The science behind this is similar to how pan pipes work
  • Deeper note indicates more air inside the bottle; thus the bottle is more empty
  • The more air in the bottle the slower the air makes it move
  • Upshot:  Either an age-old problem has been solved or untold numbers of tipsy people will be blowing aimlessly on the necks of their bottles

  • Audi just unveiled its all-new 2025 Q6 E-Tron EV crossover. It's being called the future of Audi and VW because of its new technology.  Here's what we know:
  • This is the 1st Audi on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture that will be shared with Porsche and other VW brands
  • 4-door mid-size SUV
  • 2 electric motors with either 456 hp or 510 hp models
  • 300 mile range
  • Recharges in 21 minutes from 10 to 80%
  • 100-kW battery pack
  • 800 volt architecture
  • Can recapture 95% of its braking energy and covert it into 220 kilowatts of charge
  • 5 connected domain computers that cover all vehicle functions
  • Digital cockpit with a number of screens
  • "Hey Audi" assistant that can respond to 100 commands
  • Pricing starts at $81,000.

  China's SAIC Revolutionizes the Historic British MG Brand                                              Source:  MG Cyberster Electric MG Sport Car Concept Becomes a Reality The legendary sports car company MG was founded in the 1920's in Oxford, England. It enjoyed a long history of creating iconic MG, 2 seat sports cars.
