  SUV With a Range of 280 Miles on a Charge                                             Source:  BMW Powerful SUV With Zero-Emissions BMW's new, electric SUV, the iX 60 is something electrifying and very different.  According to BMW Design Chief Adrian van Hooydonk, it is designed as a "loft on wheels".  It certainly embodies that description. The SUV provides a lot of cabin space and has an elegant, aerodynamic design.  The design team is said to have been given a great deal of freedom to pursue their collective vision of design.  The result is a stunning looking, airy, all-electric SUV with a powerful battery that affords 280 miles of range on a charge.   Highly Aerodynamic Vehicle The EV has a dual electric motor powertrain that generates 610 hp.   AEHRA's EV With 815 HP                                                  Source:  AEHRA Italian EV Startup With Intriguing Technologies Milan-based EV startup AEHRA is developing an all-electric, highly aerodynamic SUV that promises a range on a charge of 500 miles.  It also packs 815 hp of power. The SUV in design seems to blur the line between a supercar and an SUV with its flowing aerodynamic contours and cabin forward silhouette.  It will be formally unveiled in early 2023 and delivered to buyers in 2025. Although it is one of the boldest and most fascinating new concepts recently announced, it doesn't have a name yet.  It is the brash creation of AEHRA, a startup headquartered in Milan, Italy that was founded in Delaware in 2020 by the entrepreneur Hazim Nada, who was born in the US and raised in Italy.   Lincoln's First All-Electric Vehicle                                                       Source: Lincoln Built With Rivian Electric Technology Lincoln has released a teaser image of its first, all-electric concept vehicle that will officially be unveiled April 20, 2022, possibly at the New York Auto Show.  The company says that the battery electric vehicle (BEV) will set the direction for its future lineup of electric vehicles.  Lincoln is Ford's luxury car division.  Interestingly, some of new EV startup Rivian's electric technology will be at the base of the vehicle.  Ford has a 12% stake in Rivian. Rivian Base The new EV concept, which has yet to be named, appears to be rather large and a crossover, which would provide the vehicle with more aerodynamics and longer range.  Rivian's electric vehicle base, which is known as an electric skateboard, will form the EV's base.   7 Seat Electric SUV                                             Source:  Mercedes Benz Mercedes' Answer to the Tesla Model Y SUV  Mercedes Benz is launching its much anticipated all electric SUV, the EQB.  It is the Germany based company's answer to the Tesla Model Y, a compact SUV that is closing in on the most popular EV model spot in the world.  Sales are so strong for the Model Y in the US and China that Tesla is adding production capacity to build more at its new factories in Austin, Texas and Berlin, Germany. "Iconic Electric SUV" Mercedes launched the EQB at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich.  Mercedes calls it "an iconic electric SUV which incorporates the square form of our off-roaders and projects them into the future".  The EQB is slightly larger than the Model Y and has an optional third row.  In all, the vehicle has 7 seats.
