  • Two veteran US aerospace and automotive technology experts, Peter Bitar and Carlos Salaff, are quietly developing a flying car, the LEO Coupe, which is a fascinating piece of engineering
  • Here are the facts:
  1. LEO Coupe is a battery-electric flying car
  2. eVTOL
  3. Patented propulsion system of clustered electric jets
  4. 200 lift jets
  5. Double box wing configuration
  6. Size of a car and can fit into a garage
  7. Aerodynamic, modernistic design with a glass bottom floor for fabulous views
  8. Maximum speed of 250 mph
  9. Cruising speed of 200 mph
  10. Range 250 to 300 miles
  11. Control system is semi-autonomous, fly-by-wire
  12. Redundant electric motors and propellers for extra safety
  13. Emergency glide system
  14. Charging system is standard automotive home/fast charging
  15. Requires FAA pilot's license & expanded light-sports certification
  16. Seats 3 to 4 people
  17. Target users are the urban air mobility market
  18. Estimated price is $460,000.
  • This flying car hasn't received a lot of publicity and looks like an extraordinary piece of technology and vehicle design
  • It is targeted to go into production in 2026

  • New research indicates the answer is yes, they are collecting data, and some of them are gathering much more information than you think
  • Here's what we know:
  1. New research by Which? has revealed that smart household devices like smart doorbells, smart speakers, smart TVs, smart washing machines and more are capturing personal data on the user and sharing it with big tech companies like Google, Facebook, TikTok and more
  2. Most of them are using data that shows your specific interests to target you with ads on your smartphone and other devices
  3. The research group found that much more data was collected than needed to for the product to function properly
  4. In some cases, the data collection and usage were unwittingly authorized by the owner when they checked off the catch-all "agree to all terms" for the smart device
  5. Some of the info shared with other entities includes personal contact information, telephone numbers, home address, personal background 
  6. This is a consumer protection area that appears to need new scrutiny to determine that personal information is being ethically handled and securely protected
  7. Google and Amazon have clearly stated that they are handling such data ethically and protecting individual privacy.

  China's SAIC Revolutionizes the Historic British MG Brand                                              Source:  MG Cyberster Electric MG Sport Car Concept Becomes a Reality The legendary sports car company MG was founded in the 1920's in Oxford, England. It enjoyed a long history of creating iconic MG, 2 seat sports cars.
