CHINA'S ROBOT RESTAURANT COMPLEX - A 1ST

Smart Robotic Dining Source:  Qianxi Robot Catering Group Country Garden in Guangdong, China The world's first robot restaurant complex has just opened in China.  The robotic technology is phenomenal.  More than 20 robots developed for different restaurant dining styles are operating in the 2,000 square meter modern restaurant space.  They have assigned roles including food preparation, cooking and wait staff.  They can handle 600 diners at one time and serve 200 menu items in as little as 20 seconds. Mixing It Up for Customers Source:  Karlovy Lazne Music Club Two Robotic Bartender Megaclubs in Czech Republic It's called the Karlovy Lazne Music Club in the heart of Prague, Czech Republic.  Two years after introducing their first robotic DJ, the megaclub now has a robotic bartender to mix up cocktails for the clubbers. Robotic Drinks The cocktail menu is impressive.  16 different mixed drinks can be ordered by touchscreen terminals.  Everything is programmed so the drinks should be exactly to order.  The bartender is two robotic arms strategically situated below a mass of liquor bottles.  The robot can churn out 80 drinks an hour. Restaurant Hot Spot Haidilao in Beijing Automated With Plans for Hundreds More Source:  Haidilao's Restaurant in Beijing Robotic Restaurants China's hottest restaurant chain by sales Haidilao is rolling out robot staffed and operated restaurants.  The chain has more than 360 restaurants globally including in the US, Japan and Taiwan.  It recently opened Beijing's first robot staffed restaurant and looks to spread the concept across its system, starting first in China.
