Hyundai Taking Uber to the Skies

Hyundai's S-A1 Air Taxi: Uber-Hyundai Partnership Source:  Hyundai at CES 2020 Your Next Taxi Ride South Korean automaker Hyundai has created a full-scale prototype air-taxi, the S-A1.  It's a VTOL 4 seater.  And in a gamechanging innovation move, they're teaming-up with the ride sharing service Uber to take this air taxi into the skies during the 2020's.  It will be part of Uber's aerial rideshare service, Uber Air.  The target date for Hyundai to start production on the flying taxi is 2028. The S-A1 was unveiled this week at the CES 2020 in Las Vegas and was cited as one of the biggest innovations of the year. Uber Air Taxi Service With the Hyundai S-A1, Uber Air will work like Uber cars with the added value of an air taxi over traffic. With a push of a button on your phone, a car will pick you up.  It will take you to a skyport where a vertical air mobile vehicle will fly you to your next destination.  You'll then hop into a car to your final dest

Global Automaker to Build Autonomous, Green City in Japan Source:  Toyota's Woven City New Test Ground for Latest Technology This is another breakthrough global innovation development for investors to explore. Toyota is building what it calls "Woven City".  It's a futuristic city powered by the latest technologies to be built at the base of Mt. Fuji in Japan.  Ground is going to be broken in 2021.  Toyota has selected renowned Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, who designed 2 World Trade Center and the new Google headquarters, to design the new city. Fisker's All-Electric Ocean SUV

New EV SUV from US:  All-Electric, Solar-Powered, Vegan Interior, Affordable Debuts at CES 2020 Fisker, the designer and manufacturer of electric vehicles and advanced mobility solutions headquartered in LA, is unveiling an all-electric, luxury SUV, the Fisker Ocean , at CES 2020 in Las Vegas this week. The vehicle is solar powered and has a full length solar panel on the roof.  Fisker is also partnering with Electrify America, which is the largest, open DC fast charging network in the US.  Electrify America will have 3500 chargers in 45 states by 2021. Ocean Affordable And Environmentally Correct The all electric SUV can deliver up to 300 miles of driving on a 30 minute charge. The company has priced it for affordability.  The SUV starts at $37,499 but with a US federal tax credit the price drops to $29,999. SpaceX Launches 60 Satellites Source:  SpaceX World of Interconnectivity Elon Musk is at it again.  Last night, his company SpaceX successfully launched 60 satellites into space from Cape Canaveral.  His intent with the Starlink program is to beam high speed internet connectivity around the globe. World's Biggest Private Satellite Operator The launch makes SpaceX the world's largest private satellite operator.  Musk's goal is to send 42,000 satellites into space.  That would give SpaceX 3% of the $1Trillion internet connectivity global market,  At the moment Musk has 180 satellites in low earth orbit.  Some astronomers are very concerned about the satellites obstructing their views into space.
