Highly Advanced Aviation Technology

Mad Bat is one of the world's most unusual and unique electric flying machines.  The Mad Bat eVTOL is an all-electric, vertical takeoff and landing design prototype created by famous Rumanian aviation designer Razvan Sabie.  Sabie, a few years ago, unveiled his omnidirectional, potentially supersonic and incredibly agile UFO-like flying machine, the ADIFO flying disc. It received global press coverage. He has now created an eVTOL that incorporates and builds on many of the ADIFO capabilities in order to deliver exceptionally fast and easy transitions from vertical to horizontal flight.  Sabie also says this new design creation is scalable across aircraft genre from small drones, personal flying machines, multi-passenger air taxis and even a unique approach to flying cars. In fact, Sabie says you'll be able to drive your car into it and fly around, which is a new take on flying cars.

Unique Technology Unlike Other eVTOLs

Aviation experts are calling Mad Bat a heavily modified "tail-sitter" biplane, which is a VTOL that goes directly up into flight nose first and then can gently land on its tail.  It develops lift from the wings very early in the transition to horizontal flight and operates similar to a box-wing biplane.  The aircraft has a moveable cabin that keeps it and the passengers upright during the stages of flight.  The steadying factor is the propulsion system that tilts forward, moved by increasing wind resistance and asymmetrical thrust from the propellers, until it is has the passenger(s) sitting upright. There are also heavy battery packs on the bottom of the plane that also help to keep it upright. There are four sets of landing gear on the bottom of the wings and under the cabin that also let the aircraft takeoff and land like a conventional plane.  Additionally, it has a paraglider canopy that enables the pilot to bring it in for a slow and gentle landing.  This is incredible new aviation technology now under development that could usher in a whole new dimension of flying.
