Transparent Truck Trailer for Safer Towing While Travelling
The Sierra HD has an array of 15 cameras to provide wide view, "transparent" navigation, according to GMC.  They have just unveiled this new system which the company says makes for safer towing by creating a transparent truck trailer as seen from the driver's rear view mirrors.  The technology allows the driver to see what behind them.

The Difference
What's different here about the camera system is there is a trailer mounted camera system that GMC says offers a "transparent trailer view".  The camera is the first installed in a production vehicle.  It makes it a lot easier to park the truck with a large haul in the trailer and travel through narrow spaces. It is new automotive  innovation and just unveiled by GM.
